Gone are the days when women had to take the back seat while men dominated every industry. I am all for programs that empower our women to create something of their own and drop the belief that “a woman belongs in the kitchen.”

Stanbic bank partnered with Babson College to deliver a four day training program, the team was led by Prof Patricia Greene . She is the global director for the 10000 women initiative and  is no stranger to the world  of entrepreneurship, having won various awards including ;

  • 2016 – Entrepreneurial Thought & Action Award, Babson College
  • 2007 – ACE Program for New Chief Academic Officers, ACE
  • 2007 – Best LGBT Paper Award winner.

What better way to kick off this movement than with classes from a woman who has taken the world of entrepreneurship by the horns and never taken No for an answer.

I was extremely humbled to be given the opportunity to interview Prof Patricia Greene and one things for sure she oozes of wisdom and is extremely easy to talk to.Had it not been for the class she had to rush off to teach, we would have talked all day.
