Hey quirky humans,
I got an invitation to the Coke Studio launch party, organised by R &G events which was held at Latitude 15.It turned out to be one of my best nights this year,In attendance were some of Zambia’s elite, high class with a touch of socialites mega magnets such as Cleo I ce Queen,Takunda Jinda(marketing manager of Coca Cola Zambia& Malawi),Gillian Langmead(MD Langmead &Baker communication),Tivo,Salma sky,Roberto,Bobby East,Chishimba(PR girl media),Busiku Halwiindi(model) among many others graced the event.Okay so right now I know you may be thinking what is this all about? Is it Coca Cola bottles in a studio lol! I may or may not have had the same thought when I first heared about it lol!
Coke studio is a television series that brings artists from different backgrounds, genres and regions with the aim of creating music with an authentic African sound through musical fusion. What better way is there to break barriers than through a language we all understand ,MUSIC!Season two is so exciting because for the very first time Zambia is one of the participating countries, yaaaas we made it!
Zambia will be represented by the one and only Gorgeous Cleo Ice Queen.Hold up that is not it!In the melting pot are some of Africas mega super stars such as AKA,Patoranking,Ash music,Casper Nyovest you are going to have to tune in to see the rest of the fire.I really think the microphones are not ready for this! The world itself is not ready for this! The show premiered on the 23 of September at 18:00hrs,in case you missed it worry not new episodes will air every Friday. If I were you I would hit the record button and never miss an episode. Why else did they invent the replay button if not for this!
At the end of the night guests got to walk away with goody bags courtesy of Coca Cola, just take a moment to feast your eyes on what was in them.PS; the mouse was just to test the pad.
Here is a taste of Cleo Ice Queens most recent collaboration currently on repeat for me,enjoy!
